Marketplace - New Private offers console
AWS Marketplace updates to private offers
On January 20th 2023, AWS announced a significant improvement to the AWS Marketplace Console, making the seller and customer experience smoother and more appealing.
This launch impacted how the seller creates an AWS Marketplace private offer to their customers with a simplified and easier-to-navigate form.
It also allows customers to view their available, expired and accepted private offers, allowing the customer to make more informed decisions.
AWS Marketplace is a digital catalogue that makes it easy for customers to discover, purchase, and deploy software that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a vendor, there are several benefits to using AWS Marketplace to distribute your software.
- AWS Marketplace offers a broad reach. With millions of active customers globally, solutions are exposed to a large audience. Additionally, AWS customers are often highly technical and require specialised software, making them a great target market for your products.
- AWS Marketplace provides a streamlined purchasing process. Customers can easily find and purchase your software directly from the AWS Management Console without the need for additional contracts or negotiations.
- AWS Marketplace offers detailed analytics on customer usage and billing, allowing a better understanding of customer bases and helping optimise pricing strategy.
- AWS Marketplace allows for easy integration with other AWS services. This enables customers to quickly and easily set up and configure software solutions, which can improve overall experience, customer satisfaction and reduce support costs.
- AWS Marketplace can help vendors reach new customers and increase revenue. By offering software solutions on AWS Marketplace, a vendor can tap into the rapidly growing AWS customer base and expand their business.
- AWS Marketplace exposes software solutions to customers from all areas of the world looking to discover new products. This presents an opportunity for businesses to expand their customer base into new global market areas they might not have had the knowledge or means to break into previously whilst being more cost-effective than other traditional methods.
This latest update to the AWS Marketplace console is another step in the right direction of customer centricity and makes transacting much easier.
